Yeh pods and toneports connect by usb and sound good. I've got a pod myself.

I don't think you can hear the latency on Windows. I agree! Latency is a function of the interface you use mostly, windows works fine and a modern PC with a reasonable interface. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Toneport UX1 is what I recommend, since I use one. Check out my review of it.

Definitely go with toneport devices , they are very good for home recording !
