Hey!

I received my Seymour Duncan Sh-2n Jazz and Sh-4 JB today to my Jackson and when I was going to install them I became unsure since this is the first time changing pickups. The thing that made me unsure was that I was looking at this Wiring Diagram http://www.seymourduncan.com/wiring-diagra...one,3-way-blade there was some differences compared to how the standard pickups were wired. So I wonder should I either wire the new pickups according how the old pickups were wired or should I wire them according to the Wiring Diagram?

Cheers

Thanks Mertay, I just watched this video which cleared up things https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rk9ZEJsUdg and since I only would be swapping pickups they said it is best to do same connections

Haha biggrin.gif I did quite a lot of soldering in school and I remembered it quite well, just little rusty in the beginning biggrin.gif
However the new pickups made a huge difference compared to the stock PU's. I definitely like the versatility of them and the jazz has a lot of sustain, brightness and clarity smile.gif
