Hi GMC,

Just wanted to share this vid with you guys. It's how to sharpen your guitar picks using your carpet. blink.gif (I know it sounds crazy)

I've used this trick on a lot of old plectrums (I use dunlops .73 mm) which had lost all of their sharpness and now they're as good as new. So it's actually a huge money-saver.

Sharpen your guitar picks

Also be sure to check out his other vids wink.gif

P.s. I'm sorry but I couldn't embed this vid

I use this already, learnt it when learning pick scraping, it's great if you do a lot of pick scrapes to repair. Melts it smooth with friction too!

On the V-Pick website, he tells us to use a knife to sharpen it when it becomes dull smile.gif It takes a little getting used it, but works great smile.gif

I always sharpen my picks, even when they are new. Gives a fine point and adds control, great tip!

hahah.....

I see a GMC funny....

It's like your friend walks into your room. He looks at your floor and exclaims, "What happened to your carpet?!" (The carpet is all frayed and messed up)
You reply with, "oh, just sharpening my picks."

haha... biggrin.gif i thought of that when my dad told me to be sure not to snag the carpet. I does work after all with vpicks... COOL!
