Yesterday at video chat I came with this method of practicing bends. Even players with a good hearing have to polish their skills to be able to use it in 100%. Many times in a REC section You can see "work on Your bends" and yes...that is a most common problem of many students. Of course...each one has a different bending skills.

When You practice with the backing track You should be able to get correct pitch with Your bends but It seems it's not always as easy as it sounds.

I suppose most of You use the guitar pro tabs for learning the lessons. GP makes midi files. Now...whole idea is to copy the file and replace the bends with a straight notes (remove articulation). Now...import this file to a session in DAW (session with backing track for the same lesson). Send output of that midi track to some VST instrument - like electric piano (my personal favorite because of the dark tone).

This way You will have perfect reference point for the pitch and it could be great start to practice Your bends.
