My bandmate showed this to me. This is some wild playing. Looks neat, and sounds pretty good. This guy has to have some strong hands to perfectly execute all that acoustic tapping.

Also, if you like fingerstyle acoustic then http://www.candyrat.com/artists/AntoineDuFour/Development/, because I think he's even better than Andy in many ways.
err... how come it says the Andy McKee thread and I didn't put it there?
Doug made a seperate Andy McKee post not knowing that this one was about him, so I merged his post with this one, and added that to the description so people would know.
Wait, you can do that!?!
Yes, I'm modding and helping keep this forum rolling for Kris.

Hey All ! Glad you like him , you know I just think its really easy listening thats why I posted it. The song Rylynn was actually about a little girl who was friends with andy's family that unexpectedly died. Her name, Rylynn.

Good stuff, I have really been looking for some good acoustic stuff for awhile.
Sorta off topic but does anyone know of any artists that stuff similar to Opeths mellow interludes?
His new album just came out, as well as a DVD featuring Andy and Antoine DuFour. You can find them at candyrat.com.

It would be nice to have a In the style of Andy Mckee lesson.
I love his version of Africa.
Nice interview, really interesting. I'm off to see Andy supporting Tommy Emmanuel in Sheffield on Thursday, can't wait!

Awesome thanks for the link!!!
Well I was messing around on youtube and I ran into this guy and was impressed to say the least. He plays a slap acoustic with harmonics, and he just is crazy. It's incredibly peaceful and should be played as music for every elevator in the world!
