Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey there!

In general I have only good thoughts on your take. Your right hand looks smooth and tone of each note is even with all other notes. You timing is quite descent. Left hand looks very good - consistent motion and clear execution - no unwanted noises etc.

There are only two things that could be improved in my opinion - there's a little issue at the second part - everytime on the same first notes. It sounds like a hand sync problem or fretting hand doesn't handle the speed. Second thing is the tone - not necessary pleasant. It has a that taste of an old metal stomp box plugged directly to mixer line input instead of guitar amp. It's that specific fizzzz sound. Besides that it's all just right for me

Hi mate,

Good job here. I think that you need to continue practicing this lesson but you are getting close mate. You need to be able to make this sound more consistent and it will happen if you continue practicing every day trying to make your hands and fingers movement smaller. You need to make your technique more efficient so you need to make smaller right hand pick movement and to keep your left hand fingers closer to the fretboard (when you are not using them). That's how you'll be able to play this one more relaxed and tighter.

Besides that, you vibrato needs some work since it's weak. This is a good lesson for you: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...ibrato-Workout/

Ok mate, that's all by know. Keep on practicing!

Nice!

I would say spend a little more time on slower speeds to sync your hands. I think the high gain hides some slight syncing issues here.

I would also try to work out a slightly smaller right hand motion to allow for the faster speeds.

You tone is an ear killer with too much distortion and too much brightness. I suspect just adding a some free speaker simulation plugin on the audio track would make great difference. As Darius said it almost sounds like there is no amp or speaker involved.

It is still very serious work here and you get a 7 from me - keep it up mate!
