On UK and Spanish wire the breaking news is that MJ has been rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack .

This really really sucks.

Heart attack caused by overdose, terminal illness or what? He was just 50.

CNN hasn't conformed uet as far as I can see

Farrah Fawcett passed away too...

From what I am hearing, he went into cardiac arrest after trying to shape up for his upcoming 3 year world tour. He was found by paramedics in a deep coma. They tried to revive him while being rushed to UCLA Medical Center in LA where he was pronounced dead. Yes, this does suck!

Terrible news, I told guys about it 10 minutes ago in the chat. Couldn't believe it when I read it, so sudden and unexpected. Shocking. I love his music and his style was so unique and original.

Michael Jackson has not officially been announced dead. They are almost positive but has very much passed away. This is horrible, dont make fun of me but the man was one of my musical heroes. He was making his COMBACK! and it will never happen ...... RIP Michael Jackson you will be missed.

I was never a huge fan, but I did like some of his song, especially the ones with guitar shread...
At least he can now rest and be the kid he never got to be

I was always amazed by the subtle power of Steve Stevens guitar on Dirty Diana. I really did like a lot of Michael's music. It's a great loss for music.

They said his heart collapsed.. Terrible

Very sad.

All of his controversy and life problems aside, he was very talented. Played the hell out of Thriller as a kid.

He was one of those few people that everyone has had some sort connection with on some level, at some point in their life. Bigger than life type of person.

I neevr liked Michael's music much but theres no denying the talent, hopefully he will beremebered as such and not for all the controversy. Makes you wonder if you actually want to make it in the music business............

Great loss.

I have had good memories on " Thriller" album.

I loved the part Eddie van Halen played, (beat it) it was the only song (of Michael) we kinda head banged on





As a kid in your mind you think the famous people don't died.

Eventually we all will....prepared and unprepared....

Still can't believe man,

The first tape I ever bought was his dangerous album. I was 5 or 6 years old, I remember liking the album cover and insisting my mom to bought it. Good times...

R.I.P. Great musician, and for all I know, a great person. Sad to see the world of music lose such an important character. He has probably been as important as Elvis. I hope he will be remembered for that.

MJ dominated the charts when i was a kid growing up, so i couldnt help but be a fan in those days, it was through the guitar work on his albums and the fusion that he created between funk, soul and rock that turned me to the bands and artists i like today. i will always be thankfull to him for that.
regardless of the contraversy that surrounded him over the last ten years he was a musical genius and i dont think there will be another like him.

It's always "sad" if someone dies, you don't want it to happen to anyone , (except the sob that murderd your family).
I didn;t have anything with Michael, music wise, but it's sad how his life went.
