Hey guys!! I'm so excited!! biggrin.gif

Got a message back from our studio guy. He sent me the first mix back of our title track, Living in the Last Days, from the upcoming EP. I have to share with you the last chorus of the song! smile.gif We are still tweaking some things, but I think he did a great job! We are still working out the MIDI problems, and so for now I sent him the WAV file of the drums. Still needs bass too.

In this song there is mostly screaming, but the chorus is more radio friendly. smile.gif

Harsh & BG Vocals: Joshua Moore
Clean Vocals: Brandon Burch

Hey Brandon!

I commented on Facebook as well biggrin.gif This sounds like a mix between Fear Factory (overall sound and clean vocals) and Dead by April (the screamo vocals remind me of these guys)

Very nice!

I like the song Brandon both the composition and the performance.

The mix umm. I don't like commenting on soundcloud streams but to be honest if the uncompressed wave files are similar then I think you need to look at gainstaging, levels, balance and some other issues.

Great man ! Your guitar dreams are coming true ! cool.gif
I like the clean/screamo vocals.
And like also what Ben said - That fading riff sounded awesome !

But this mix needs to balanced little more. I can barely hear the guitar and kick drum is quite loud.

But I'm exited to hear more smile.gif

Really good playing and production work there! Do I hear an Autotune thing happening on the vocals? Its sounding spiff then there is almost a Cher moment when the vocals seem to go up a step in a digital way? Please tell us you are not autotuning!!!

Thanks Jonas! smile.gif

No, Todd. We didn't autotune our voice. Austin did some pitch correction to make it perfect, but I really sang like that.
