This is almost like a hypnosis session with Mr Vai. Brilliant.

Yeah, we have talked about this one many times at GMC. Steve is pure inspiration.

This is another cool video:

And talking about inspiring speeches, this is (with the one that you shared) one of my favorites:

Hehe, these are some videos which EVERYONE should watch constantly - from time to time, in order not to forget why they started playing the guitar and making music, in the first place smile.gif Good share, thank you!

They are all great but the one thing I like about the first one is, the background music kinda draws you in, makes you listen, like a self hypnosis recording would do. The Grohl one is good but for me I can see he is reading it and it is distracting, Vai speaks more from the heart than a written and rehearsed talk.

They are all good though smile.gif

I like them all! Both Dave and Steve are very close to my heart as musicians and people, but somehow, Dave managed to stay true to music, while Vai is sorting out music nowadays just to be able to stay in the industry. I must also recognize that I am much more drawn to Foo Fighters than Steve Vai nowadays, because their music simply transmits a message which is closer to me than Steve's actual music. For me, his last great album, was Alive in an ultra world. After that one, everything happened because he had to stay afloat. But then again, that's just my opinion and it has NOTHING to do with what he feels or transmits when he speaks - that, is still pure magic wink.gif
