Recently on Metal Hammer Battleheart are a fast paced pirate metal band from Scotland,

The first is self entitled:



and the second is called Terror On The High Seas:



It's production is much ramped up in quality over the first EP. However both are definitely worth a listen for the fast paced chanted choruses and the general hilarity of the whole thing, its a daft idea done well.

Ah, these are great bands, i just cant stand the label "Pirate Metal" for some reason, seems rather useless to me.

Anyway, on a lighter note, this is a great band, some cool stuff goin on here.

Yeah i know why, I listen to these guys alot, i just dont think an entire label is necessary Thats all.

I love it!

It has a real 'high seas' sound with the licks in the music.
