Speed Picking/ Picking Quickly, the dos and don'ts and explain please :)

Im a little confused about speed picking, ive been hearing alot about this 45* angle thingy but is it a horizontal 25 degrees or a lateral 45 degrees, but instead of going into detail with my question, could someone please tell me all they know/ show a good lession with good tips about the picking hand?

just go to video lessons and click on the section for 1 on 1 exersizes..theres a bunch in there for speed picking
