Hi

I´m trying to figure out how to use VST plugins. I´ve got EZDrummer and Brommstick Bass. How do I get the bass lines and the drum beats down, and record it into the DAW (I´m using Cubase SX3). Do I have to use and Midi keyboard, or can it be programmed without it somehow?

You can eaither buy a MIDI keyboard, or create the MIDI files in any program (such as GP5 or similar) and import it in CUbase smile.gif

I use MIDI keyboard 'M-Audio Keystation 61es', it has velocity sensitive semi-weighted keys and it's not so expensive (around $200), can be connected via USB or MIDI smile.gif

EZDrummer has its own MIDI bank, where you have premade groove patterns. You can use those too, or you can draw your own notes.
