GMC Forum _ Lessons (Zsolt) _ Lesson Request

Posted by: AlexLion May 19 2009, 02:23 PM

Hi there Zsolt!

How`s going? I think all is well smile.gif Tell me, what you think about doing a cover to this beautiful piece?

I enjoyed a lot your Csardas cover and learned it, tho I still work on vibrato in there. This piece with your attack and wide vibratos and with some Zsolt signature sweeping ( biggrin.gif ) would be terrifying!

I thought about beggining part till approximately 1:15 and maybe end from 5:58. Anyways, if you will decide to do this I`ll be more than happy with anything you will come smile.gif

Cheers!

p.s. - anyone else agree with me on request?smile.gif

Anything from Zsolt is great, so yes smile.gif

I am now doing some crazy Paganini piece for the next lesson but not 24 caprice. It would be cool if Zsolt can arrange this one smile.gif

That`s so pleasant to hear! I love your Mozart Turkish March lesson! Those few balkan trills in there still aren`t up to speed to me :| Well but I`m moving towards them!

This is awesome news bro! Can't wait to see it! biggrin.gif

It seemes that Kosei Kubota booked this piece...although he will play it on an acoustic guitar, so I think I'll ask Kris about this matter smile.gif

Posted by: Pedja Simovic May 20 2009, 05:08 PM

Zsolt you would really rock Paganini pieces man, go for it smile.gif

Posted by: AlexLion May 20 2009, 05:22 PM

I saw that lesson before posting, it`s only main theme. GMC want to see that piece longer and filled with your agressive and awesome playing! And would be cool if lesson also will be very fast like original laugh.gif
And Kris will not be Kris if he disagree! For example we had two Turkish March lesson, on electric guitar both smile.gif

Edit: I thought there is no such thing as booked lessons on GMC, don`t know, Kris should hear about it and approve smile.gif

Posted by: Jesse May 20 2009, 05:28 PM

that is an epic piece!

Posted by: Jesse May 21 2009, 11:58 AM

Zsolt is already on the job Alex:D Zsolt, if I may ask. If you do this, what speed will it be? Like, uber fast? Or just like the original in that youtube video?

Posted by: AlexLion May 21 2009, 12:10 PM

Haha I wanted to say that too Jesse biggrin.gif

Zsolt do it lighthing fast!! That will be very good, because we need to push our boundaries smile.gif

edit: ..."just like original in that youtube video".. laugh.gif In some places it`s like 12 notes per second for sure.. only.. biggrin.gif

Posted by: Jesse May 21 2009, 12:11 PM

Ok guys it will be something like "excerpts and variations on Paganini's 24th caprice", to fit in 2 min video. And I absolutely plan to do the last arpeggios... like the original one but played the whole thing an octave lower biggrin.gif
I will finish some other vids and start to work on this one afterwards.
