Anyone seen it yet?

I thought it was a great movie, awesome effects, good acting, and of course, the giant monsters!!

The only flaw was that it was shot entirely with a handheld camera, so there are some parts where the camera is overtly shaky, minor compared to the overall experience.

Pretty funny too smile.gif

Well, its an awesome movie if anyone wants to see it smile.gif

Its great especially when the main character dies at his own will to save the girl. But she ends up dieing to at the mercy of the "others".

Just Kidding I have don't even know what its about, could you tell me.

Basically its a monster movie, something attacks the city, things are destroyed, and all hell ensues. Great flick! smile.gif

Finally saw this movie and well I wasn't blown away by it but it was a refreshing movie I must say. I liked the hand held camera take on the whole thing and it did have it's funny moments too. The monster was pretty interesting and I found the end scene kind of cool... need to pay attention though smile.gif

I didn't like this movie at all. I kept wandering off on the story. Nothing caught my attention aside from what the monster actually looked like.

+1

I really dont see what all the hype is about.
The whole shaky camera angle thing I just found annoying.
It had alot of plot holes.
Where did the monster come from anyway ?
It was a cool idea but I didnt like how it was filmed, how it ended, or anything really for the matter.

The only thing that kept me interested was the funny camera guy but other then that It wasnt good at all for me.

Thats just my take-

I really enjoyed cloverfield, it was artistically good, the camera was awsome, dispite being shaky i found i got lost in the movie and didn't pay attention to the shakeyness once the movie actually started. It gives lots of room for a sequil/prequil or just a different version of the same attack (ie other cameras). really creative story sort of, the last scene really makes you wonder. ALSO!
