I have backing tracks in mp3 or wav files and can probably convert those to any format I might need. I also have the guitar port so my guitar plays through my pc....most of the time.

What software do I need to get that is simple to use in order to record myself beating up my guitar to one of the backing tracks and be able to merge both to one recording?

Thanks!

Hah ! I guess I do have that effect- sorry biggrin.gif

Reaper is a great choice, and becoming popular here at GMC - if you have any problems with it there will be no shortage of willing assistants, myself included - have fun!
