For some of you that don't do any type of martial arts, you might find this a bit corny or weird,
I was talking to one of my instructors earlier today and I asked him about a technique used to knock somebody out without touching them. He claimed it true and can be done. Using the Thai power of fire, if you build it up enough you can focus that energy into your opponent. It is called the Pushing Palm. He used to train with Thai and built up that energy in himself. If you miss even one day of training you must start over. That was what happened to him after six months. If anybody here on gmc knows more about this and/or knows how to create that energy please I really want to know. http://youtube.com/watch?v=1SLtXlQkDAE EDIT: Sorry, it's Ki (Chi), not Thai This post has been edited by Xranthoius: Dec 29 2007, 10:16 PM -------------------- |

Well, I'm a skeptic.
This video shows how a guy can make a bell ring without any physical contact, so thats kinda cool. http://youtube.com/watch?v=7FZjHAijc0k but heres one where a guy that practices something similar gets embarassed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEDaCIDvj6I but if I could learn anything, it would be this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=wksvKJ8-w4o EDIT: I just watched that last video I linked. Man, I forgot how cool that was... This post has been edited by Spiderusalem: Dec 29 2007, 09:55 PM -------------------- Equipment: Classical/Jazz hybrid guitar. blunt/black humor.
