GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Hughes And Kettner Amp's

Hi I want to buy a new AMP and because my dad has conections to the Leader of the Hughes and Kettner Comp I can get those amps cheaper.
And because of that i wanted to know if some of u guys know a few amps of Hughes and may could give me some reviews
and how u liked them if u played them wink.gif

I have the choice between

I use H&K TourReverb for small gigs. Hughes&Kettner amps are really great. Tone, functionality, workmanship and legendary German quality, are on the highest level. Absolutely great choice!

My suggestion are the MK II or the Trilogy if you want some versatility.

Don't rule out the Switchblade! It's my favourite H&K amp head!

I like the Puretone man, too bad it doesn't have the FX loop, but not many small vattage amps do have them (unfortunately) sad.gif

I personally recommend the MK II. I played with it a few times and its sound is very clear and with a lot of power. It would be a great choice
