Hey guys! I often hear people complaining about the fact that 4/4 is boring and they need complicated time signatures in order to stay happy. Well, in my opinion, it's a lot more interesting and groovie to transform the 4/4 into something different by paying attention to the way you're phrasing or extracting notes from here and there in order to create tension. I'm sure that wonderful ideas may come up - as an example, check out my new Metal Metrics 2 lesson, which deals with these things
