Emg's, with batteries?

Also to add, the life will be shortened if you keep your guitar plugged in. Models equipped with emg's from the mfg usually have a "battery box" that makes it easier to access. Jul 26 2009, 10:40 PM	Learning Tone Master Posts: 3.185 Joined: 22-June 07 From: Germany	There is no need to worry about constant battery changes^^ The 9V battery is usually in an easy-to-acces battery compartment if the guitar comes with EMG from the factory; if they are fitted afterwards the battery is usually in rubberfoam in the back of the guitar between the switches and knobs... A guitar fitted with emgs will last at least a year of constant playing, just make sure not to leave the guitar cable pluged in when not playing, it drains the battery! And that procedure took me a whole 20 seconds A really good idea is to always remember to unplug the guitar when not in use. There's a batterly-lid on guitars that come with EMG's. I replace it around 3-4 months ´cause I play many times live. and I really like to stay comfortable with my guitar. I hate to feel those noisy bends when the battery is not full-charged.
