well man! first to all, welcome
 I suggest u to start with some of this. from Muris https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/jumping-around-beginner/ from me https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/manowar_for_beginners/ these are quite different. one is focused on soloing and the another one on rhythm using powerchords. Yeah, I guess you should go for anything that
sounds cool and doable for you and mostly likely you'd pick something that fits your level already. Or you can simply go by level,1-4 approx, can't tell for sure, rating is very individual. Welcome to GMC btw.

You say you don't know any scales, I suggest you learn the pentatonic scale boxes in all positions. That will definitely improve your improvisation capabilities all over the neck, learn it, you won't regret
Here's a nice 1 on 1 lesson to start: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/One_on_on...onic_scale1.htm From there, check Andrew's theory board to learn the rest of the positions, like this one: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...?showtopic=5023 Once you know the cages you can just shift them to play in any scale. You can even change between minor & major scales shifting the boxes. What's more, once you know those 5 boxes you can learn minor/major scale just adding a couple notes in those cages. I still have a lot to learn, but this was the biggest eye-opener for me so far. Hope that helps. -------------------- Guitars:

Good thing to start with as you haven't learned scales yet is my pentatonic workshop series:
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ming-exercises/ This lesson is very useful as it will enable you to learn your very first scale that guitar players often learn when starting. It is sort of an universal scale that can be applied in numerous situations and music styles so it's kind of a first choice for most people. Let me know if you need any tips or advices with it. Cheers. Of course, solely technical exercises like this one is not recommended.
