Robin Trower; Bridge of Sighs. I liked it a lot when it first came out when I was a kid and like it even more now.

Robin Trower; Bridge of Sighs. I liked it a lot when it first came out when I was a kid and like it even more now. + 1 Rob. Trower is an awesome player who can say more with one sustained note then a lot can say with a 100. Long Misty Days is my fav though Bridge of Sighs is close behind (and is on my Ipod). The original trio were an incredibly tight, musical act. (Trower still tours.) What I'm listening to though is a recording of a concert by John McLaughlin and Carlos Santana from 1973. McLaughlin is awesome on it. Trower is an awesome player who can say more with one sustained note then a lot can say with a 100. So very true ... in general ... I know nothing about Trower myself but applaud the principle. I am going to spend the next year teaching myself to play less notes, but make each one ache with meaning (I'll never be a shredder I guess, but even shredders play slow expressive songs occasionally). -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
