Hello guys,

My name is Nermin, i came across GMC today and i thought this is a great resource for a guitarist.

A little bit about me. I was born in Bosnia, then war broke out and i left. I am now living in US, and going for my Masters degree in Computer Science, also work, but in my free time, i play guitar. Its big part of my life. Its always there for me to comfort me in good and bad times.

I hope to get to know you all.

Thank your all for the warm welcome. Sorry i just got back from work so you guys know how that goes. I wish i could have responded earlier.

To answer the question DeepRoots posted above, i have been playing for about 10 years now, but its more like first few were practicing and rest were just siting around and playing the easy stuff that i can pull of. Lately i have been playing with two of my friends and we have been doing allot of acoustic stuff, lot of covers from AIC, STP etc. The music i like is definitely classic rock, I am big fan of Hendrix, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, GNR, Kiss, Pink Floyd and bunch of others. I also like the 90's bands allot, like Allice in Chains(my favorite), Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, RATM(love these guys and they are back!!!) Pantera, Tool. I am sure i have missed many but those are just the few of top of my head.

Also i like music from where i was born, such as SMAK, Indexi, Leb i Sol, Azra, EKV. Unfortunately i grew up most of my life outside Bosnia, i was more exposed to the American/British bands, so i know allot more about them, and rest of the bands i learned through my friends and my own research.

There you have it, as i am learning my way around the forums ill post more. Thanks again guys!
