A 12 string, 2 large condenser mics and toying with intervals...6ths are cool.....

To the helpful experts, I used two large condenser mics on the lower bout of this 12 string guitar. A tiny bit of verb and a touch of EQ to balance things out. What else would you recommend? I was thinking of a third pen condenser at about the 12th fret for a little more clarity...

Beautiful mate- i really enjoyed it....look forward to hearing more of your stuff!
Very nice sound and playing
Regarding mics I suggest you the following:
Two mics, 1st pointing to 12th fret and 2nd to bridge (pointing from outside), you can get a nice stereo sound.. If you want to add more depth add a 3rd mic to back of guitar, mirroring the bridge mic, but make sure to switch phase in recording software (for back mic), since these two mics (bridge and back) may cancel each other
Putting a mic pointing to the hole will make the sound muddy, there is a way of recording stereo sound with two mics in the middle in X position, pointing to 12th fret and bridge respectively, but you cannot get a real stereo image with it

It sounds very nice mate, I would prefer a bit lighter sound, with more presense, but it sounds very nice indeed, great job
Really nicely recorded mate - love the warm depth to the sound. Also, liked the music
Thank you everybody for taking the time to listen.
Dejan, thanks for the link, printed it out and will give these idea's a try.
