That was an amazing lesson, fun to learn and play. Self assessment: some timing issues during the tricky triplets section and some unwanted string noise during the slides.

Hey there! There is nothing better then the ability to spot some issues by yourself. You've noticed some timing problems and that'sa fact (I'm sure you'll be able to fix them). Your picking is consistent and makes you able to get even tone from each note (BTW...cool 80's metal tone!). I like the balance of basic tone vs percussive sound in your palm muting.

Around 0:33 those 16th notes runs are to blurry, not selective enough. Sometimes too hard grip of the pick or slightly too hard picking make us fall out of the perfect sync. Try to experiments with this in the opposite direction (a little more relaxed and those runs should be fine). Aside from above, your playing is tight, guitar well tuned and your highly focued on what you're doing. Your take is really descent. Well done!

Hi vpavlov,

I think that Darius and you already detected the main elements to improve on this take. This lesson is perfect to train your palm muting and riffing and it requires timing precision. The more you play it, the more comfortable you'll feel so going tight with the backing will become more natural.

In the second half I also hear that the power chords sound wit tuning issues, this can be related to your guitar tuning, but maybe to the pressure that you are doing with your fingers. Just give some attention to it during the next practice sessions.

Hi my friend, I love your palm muting - you manage to get a really nice chunky sound!

Your main issue is timing - you often rush ahead too quickly. The best example of this is around 0:33 - 0:44. You can hear the chord movements and the down strokes are rushed. This occurs elsewhere in the piece as well.

As Darius said, you already know about the timing issues so you know what needs to be worked on
