Hello folks, for my literature class we are required to make a "Trailer" for a movie that is about the Salem Witch Trials, like The Crucible.

We are required to add music to the trailer, i have some ideas but i wanted advice and more ideas from you guys. I was wondering what songs would fit this theme lyrically and musically as well. Thanks.

weird, I'm also studying the Witch Trials/The crucible in my lit class
btw is the trailer for the movie 3 Sovereigns for Sarah?

anyway, "Burn the Witch" by Queens of the Stone Age applies... I know nobody was burned in Salem, but the lyrics still fit

"Burn The Witch"

Holding hands
Skipping like a stone
On our way
To see what we have done
The first to speak
Is the first to lie
The children cross
Their hearts & hope to die

Bite your tongue
Swear to keep your mouth shut

Ask yourself
Will i burn in Hell?
Then write it down
& cast it in the well
There they are
The mob it cries for blood
To twist and tale
Into fire wood
Fan the flames
With a little lie
Then turn your cheek
Until the fire dies
The skin it peels
Like the truth, away
What it was
I will never say...

Bite your tongue, swear to keep
Keep your mouth shut
Make up something
Make up something good...
Holding hands
Skipping like a stone
Burn the witch
Burn to ash & bone

also, you mentioned you didn't like Lords of Salem (which would probably has the most fitting lyrics), but unless you don't like metal, you should also check out "American Witch" by Rob Zombie

no, we just have to make a trailer for a "movie" of the subject, a movie that doesent exist.

And yes, i do like metal, i just cant find how Lords of Salem could fit in the trailer, but if I find a place for it, ill put it in.
