Hello!

I am a high school Physics, Chemistry, and Math teacher and I have a degree in Space Engineering. I've been playing guitar since I was 14 and had to put a lot of my effort on hold for the 7 years or so I was in University. I still played often, but not as much as I would have liked!

I'm mainly into metal, blues, and classic rock and my style is probably a mix of the three.

I love outer space and that's the theme of my Jackson SL1 Soloist :)

Hello,

I have the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and I'm having trouble getting the video imported into Reaper. I am using the 64-bit version of Reaper since I'm using Windows 7x64.

I record a video using Logitech's software that came with the camera and it's saved as an .mp4 file. I then drag it into Reaper and it says "Could not import 1 of 1 items!" I tried recording the video using Windows Live Movie Maker and it saves the file as a .wmv. This imported fine into Reaper, but it's very choppy. Also, this isn't a performance issue in regards to my PC. I built it myself and it's quite powerful biggrin.gif

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Anyone else with the same webcam that uses Reaper?

Thanks! Hopefully soon I'll have some REC videos up.

edit: Also, I tried converting the .wmv file to an .mp4 using VLC, but it wasn't working and I don't want to download new software until I have to.

Check this out! I tried it on my buffed switchblade v-pick just now and it literally took me 10 seconds. My carpet isn't as course as that either so it should work!

Hello!

I have a question. I am using ezdrummer in Cubase 5 to make drum tracks and I am able to set my usb audio interface as the input and can record the raw signal from my guitar, but I can't figure out how to get the signal after it's been processed by Guitar Rig.

I know I can record my guitar using Guitar Rig and transfer the file, but this can become tedious.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks!

Last week I finally ordered some of the buffed switchblade models and they finally came two days ago... I've never played with such an awesome guitar pick before!

I only bought 3 because I wanted to try them out, but I think I'll buy a higher quantity after these wear out or I lose them.

I was surprised because I noticed a difference in the tone right away. And the grip is nice. I tried switching from the nylon dunlop picks with the grip to my old tortex picks and they kept sliding in my hand because I wasn't used to them. These ones stick in place smile.gif

Haven't tried them yet? I recommend it!
