How often do you guys use these and, most of all, do you like their sound? I am pretty fond of their properties and I use them a lot, as they bring a sort of spacy feeling to songs
What do you think?
I feel and am stupid but what is a suspended chord???
Suspended chords are chords which usually have no 3rd
You must've heard of Asus2 or Asus4 for instance
sus2 chords, have the following structure: tonic, second, fifth (1 2 5) in the case of Asus2 the notes would be A B E
sus4 - tonic, fourth, fifth - > in the case of Asus4, the notes would be A D E
So there's no third
for a little joke: do you guys know which is the holy chord ?
Gsus )))))
I love how suspended chords sounds!
It's also interesting to use sus2 & sus4 Arpeggios during the solos!
Yeeess Stephane, you just reminded me of how nice they sound I think I'll recap them a little, since I haven't done anything with suspended arpeggios in some time - I especially like the dominant 7th sus4 forms
I use them a lot in my songs. The sus2 is one of my favourite chords, I use it every time that I can.
Another silly joke regarding suspended chords would be
'Q: What's the programmer's favorite chord?
A: Asus'
I use them whenevr I can
usually I will hit th power chord and while I try to keep as many of those notes ringing , I will try to pick the suspended notes
I think it really adds flavor
I use them all the time on the acoustic they sound really nice!
