Loosing Pick

when i speedpick i have a tendency to loose the grip on my pick. it slides in my fingers! moves around so to speak. anyone else have this problem? any suggestions of how to hold on to it better?

when I play something I'm not so sequre playing or if I don't give a damn about the song or my thoughts wonder off I tend to hold the pick a bit looser. But if I feel more secure and like the song, am concentrated etc. I attack more and everything becomes tighter... even the grip of the pick.

And I use picks with a rugged surface.

I do that every now and then, when i get all sweaty and stuff, i usually scratch indents on the surface with a knife do there is a little more grip.
