Hi GMCers

My name is Scott and I'm from a Alberta, Canada. I've been playing guitar on and off for awhile and have recently joined GMC with hopes of taking my guitar playing beyond the few simple riffs I seem to play over and over again. I've never had any lessons or formal training and with my work schedule there are not too many other guitar players around to jam and/or learn from. I'm really excited to have the opportunity to play and learn from all the great artists on this site, I look forward to meeting some new people and learning all I can. That's all for now!

Time to start practicin'

Hey Scott & welcome to GMC! smile.gif I know exactly what you mean about time. That's one of the beauties of GMC. You can practice your lesson anytime. You can also ask a question anytime on the forum & get responses rather quickly. There are many video chats which are all great & there's usually at least one that will fit into a comfortable time slot for you!

See you in the forum & the chats! smile.gif

hey Scott!

Good luck with the practicing.
I lived in Calgary since '93 and just moved to the east coast a couple years ago.

Cool! I'll be doing a Vchat session in one hour and I'm showing how to compose a song in the style of AX7.
