Here is a clip for part of a Backing track that I"m working on for this Saturday's upcoming VIDEO CHAT lesson. It's called Canonical Decompostion. (Deconstructing/de"composing" Canon "Accepted Works")

It contains several techniques we are going to work on by learning the parts involved.
*Sweep Picking
*Double Picking
*Alternate Picking
*Economic PIcking

It's based loosely on a Minor/Harmonic Minor Arpeggio grouping. Enjoy! See you Sat!
Attached File  CanonicalDecomposition.mp3 ( 1.3MB ) Number of downloads: 244

This inversion happens against the main rythm but don't let it throw you off. It might sound harder to play than it actually is. It's very fun to rip through this riff. Hope you guys can make it!

PREVIEW FOR SATURDAY VID CHAT BACKING TRACK (Based Loosely on BEN HIGGINS last Video Chat)

BEN RAWKS! So I blatantly stole his chops (With permission of course) from his last video chat and wrote a tune for a backing and then sped it up quite a bit and BINGO! Saturday Metal Meltdown! Sounds a bit Paul Gilberty! Big Shock eh? smile.gif
