I just got a new fender starcaster distortion pedal... cool.gif

1 problem... mellow.gif

it tkes 9volt batteries, and for some reason the batteries die out very quickly...
overnight! dry.gif

I dont know if its the batteries, or the pedal, or my own ignorance.
but i know that when i change the battery, it dies the next day...

does anyone know whats wrong?

Do you unplug the jack-cable from the input? .. if not, it will continously drain the battery

Get you a DC adapter, 20.00 or so but well worth it! you'll need to know what milli amp it runs off of and the any brand will do. Boss is most common.

Yeah , you need to unplug your guitar when you are not playing it because as soon as you plug it in it starts to drain batteries.. wink.gif

Yep, unplug the cord.

A distortion pedal in general taking 5-7mA would last about 30 hours
