Your Picking Technique

Hi muris im a big fan of your work an im always amazd by your lesons.hw did u devolop your picking style,u seem 2 anchor your wrist on the bridge an reach 4 the strings,is there any advantage 2 this? Thanks

How did I develop it?
Well it was surely long road I can tell you that!
I changed it few times,used to hold pick vertically to the strings,
then I had some fingers "out" of closed fist etc.
But in maybe last 7-8 years this is the type I prefer and use.

Anchoring wrist on the bridge,well it gives me many advantages,
I can easily do palm muting,I don't much much effort in hand,only to do picking up and down.

Sori i dnt tink i worded my msg very wel,i meant anchoring ur wrist onli at the top of the bridge as oposed 2 movin ur wrist up an down the bridge,lyk kris an pavel,im tryna decide which 1 2 use n i wana kno wat advantages ur style has thanks muris

Well,I find it much easier to have my wrist "fixed" on bridge,less movements.
You try both ways,I can't tell which one is correct cause both are fine I guess,
it depends of player the most. smile.gif
