I would like Ban Halen´s "Ain´t talk about love" as Lick of The day, is this possible?
Kristofer wrotes in another thread the below standing text:

For many reasons - most important being lisences and pricing -
we can't do specific songs on gmc. Instead we focus on styles and techniques. So if you are into Eddie's tapping - you should get some valid advice from the tapping serie!
Kris
So is the "Ain´t talk about love" intro also a thing that might be inpossible, because of license or stuff like this?
The intro tab seems to be really easy, but the timing is a little bit tricky. Also i´m interessed in what kind of effects Eddie uses to came up with the specific sound from Ban Halens first Album. Anyone can give me a direction on how to copy that sound?

About the brown sound on Van Halen I it's widley discussed, you're not the first to ask that question and it depends who you ask what the answer will be. Some say it's a stock Marshall some say it's modded.
They should just build a stomp box to simulate his whole sound, right?
Check this out, might be something for you, MXR EVH90 Phaser

Since licenced stuff is banned - Kris said "we can't do specific songs on gmc." - and it happened to be a song by Van.. sorry, Ban Halen.

Are you serious? I hope not. Eddie Van Halen has only been ALIVE for a little over 50 years. Van Halen was popular in the 80's not the 20's dude.

I know what you mean, he looks terrible nowadays. But the next guitar world has him on the cover.

Hmm yes I guess that could work for a while... But it would not be a very honest solution.
Rather - I suggest we get this site as good as possible so that we can afford a lawyer to clear the right for us...someday
