i thought i would put my newly purchased cubase 5 to good use and try recording some song ideas ive been thinking of recently, and im not sure where or how i can improve it, so i thought i would upload it to here and see what you think is good/bad, at the moment it think it sounds quite messy but not sure if this is because my levels are wrong or because of my bad recording skills?

You have been warned tongue.gif

Cool idea for a song smile.gif

I have just listened to it on laptop speakers, so I can't really point out something yet..
But the guitarsound sounded good, even on my laptop, so what did you record it with? smile.gif

Nice, Bareknuckle pickups are awesome smile.gif
I've used Nailbombs, great pickups too..

I'm using a musicman as well for bass, so you've got some cool instruments there biggrin.gif

Sounds very good! Maybe I would choose an other distorted sound, but this is only my suggestion! Congrats!

Nice recording! You are pretty solid on playing, and that's great. The tone is absolutely a matter of taste, I'd still scoop it a bit more (little less mids, little more treble), but it's really personal taste smile.gif
