GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Oh God No What Song Should I Learn...

hey guys, i am in a situation called in deeep s**t
now, i got a audition comming up in one and a half weeks, and it needs to be a acoustic guitar solo, but i dont know what to learn!!

have you people any suggestions, asap please im like screwed if i dont learn something in time, i just been practicing repeated patterns for shredding.....! sad.gif

any suggestions? something impressive. dont mind if its a touch too hard, i can learn quite fast

Normally I wouldn't help people if they called Clapton boring. But you are entitled to an opinion so..... Learn a song called "Ocean" by the John Butler Trio, message if you want another idea

I'm for Kansas "Dust in the wind". Simple Travis picking, open chords, sounds quite complex for such a simple song.

You can play maybe Faith No More - Easy, in a nice acoustic arrangment. The solo can be translated to acoustic pretty effectively too.
