I am on the hunt for a resonator guitar. I am learning blues slide style and have re-tuned an accoustic, but just not the old raspy sound I am looking for

I see many and have tried a couple here although no real choices available.

Does anyone have any experience with any brands or models.

I have tried Wood and Metal body.

Once again any expertise is appreciated. OR even a link to what they suggest.

Thanks

Not particularly relevant, but my Variax has a couple of resonator models in it - if you can't get a real one you could check out the Variax 300.

Thanks for the tip. Might be good for start.

I saw a line 6 version modeling guitar at a local shop here that was interesting.

I have not fully investigated the concept although the basic idea is interesting.

I will go search the one you have right now.

One point also is that I am looking at hanging my guitars around the room by the bar in my basement rather that pictures. I thought it would look cool. Plus if someone is over they can take it down and play it.

Thanks again for your usual help
