A Teisco 'Zen-On' from probably 1964 or so - ?

But the neck is straight and it plays in tune. The neck pickup rocks and it's gonna be great for adding some funk, soul and weirdness to tracks. Out here it's requisite that you have one or two 'cheap' guitars if you do any session work. The hard part is finding one that plays relatively in tune. Cool guitar and playing! I like the warm tone that you get from it! I saw the Black Keys live some days ago and the singer/guitar player used many vintage guitars that looked as cool as this one.

Well, now I understand its purpose in your arsenal, so it's all good 
but it's as sturdy as an oak and sounds like the sweetest tele!

I love the way it sounds so I'm going to take it to my tech and see what he suggests for making it a little sturdier and quieter (new tuning gears and maybe re-wiring the electronics and changing/fixing the switches). I don't have any real desire to use it live. Recording only.
