Clean page design without too many "add-ons" or graphics should work well..Upload few songs, write you biography..Upload pictures/videos..And then start adding friends and advertising the page around the net.You have to start by adding friends yourself - "for machine to start rolling"

Make sure you open "artists" account otherwise you won't have a playlist and won't be able to upload songs

You need a new one no way back

Open my one myspace.com/emirhotguitar and on the top menu you have "artist sign up". Click that and start from there.

You can edit and add some cool backgrounds by using this page:

I found frustraiting to only be able to upload 6 songs, so you can store your files elsewhere and make another player by using flash music player generator, and add as many songs as you like.

Here is my page with a generated player and it has 10 songs now.

Hm, recently I've seen some site which had far better tools... but can't remember it now...
And that's a pity you can't convert your old MySpace account to an artist one - it's nonsense.

when you add famous artists, be sure to Send them a thankyou message in their comments. this will draw attention from other fans of that artist and will spread.

Overall, making sure you thank everyone that adds you, and the ones that you add that accepts will make you visible in a lot of places

I only use myspace to check out new bands. I don't have an account and won't get one either.
