Staccato Power Chords, Lesson By Ben Higgins |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Rhida!
Good to see you working on a new lesson. This one is sounding very aggressive! I can say that there are two main things to improve on this take. - Timing: You have to adjust the timing in some sections and the connection between chords which isn't always tight and smooth. The lesson includes some fast changes and slides that require more days of practice. Keep on it! - Chords pitch: The are some chords that sound out of tune. Your guitar seems to be well tuned so the problem must be the pressure that you are doing with your left hand on the strings, generating some kind of micro bend. Try to fix is doing less pressure. That's all. I feel that this one will be mastered soon! Keep the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
