Was just browsing some lessonis when I stumbled upon this Megadeth Riffing lesson from Gabriel Leopardi.

So I figured I would record my take on it and share it with the class so to speak.

Although its short I think it captures the essence of what Megadeth are about riffs wise, and thats why I figured I would have a go at it wink.gif

I use Pro Traks Plus for recording... all of the audio goes thru my Digitech GNX4 directly into pro tracks. I split the backing track onto its own channel then record my guitar on a different channel. I dont really need much for post production as I tend to use a 'wet' mix to begin with. All I really need to do is balance the output levels of both tracks.

Hope that helps a little.

Sounds very good mate, the distortion is just right, it doesn't sound too compressed. Very good! Rhythmically it is very stable as well, it can be even tighter, but it sounds solid as is is really. Awesome job! smile.gif
