So me and a singer friend just recorded two acoustic songs.
Please feel free to listen and critizise, both good and bad feedback are welcome.

See the Light
: Was a song I did several years ago. It has extremely cheesy/ridiculous lyrics, but my excuse is I was very young, I did it under the influence of swedish vodka, and it was finished in 10 minutes. It was kind of a joke song to start with, therefore the clichee lyrics, but people seem to like it for some reason, so...

The Suffering: Is of course a acoustic cover of the well known band Coheed And Cambria, altough we shortened it some and threw the verses and choruses around a bit.

I recorded 2 layers of acoustic, with some differences between them in a few places. On the first one there are also some acoustic soling going on here and there... If you listen very carefully you can hear my sweet voice in the background in a few spots, luckily my friend is a better singer than me, haha...

Just heard See the light - sounds very nice ! I like singers voice, reminds me a bit of Iglesias biggrin.gif
One thing about See the light, has couple too many solos in my opinion for pop song contest wink.gif

I will check out 2nd tune now...

The Suffering sounds cool and well interpreted. Great job on backing vocals smile.gif No solos this time ? wink.gif

Haha, yeah, we kind of filled the song out with some solos to make it longer. We were out of clichee lyrics to add here... It won't go to any contest anyhow. biggrin.gif

The Suffering is a great song originally. No, I held back my eagerness to solo away on this one. But singing some background is almost the same thing, only harder for me who have a voice not meant for human ears. rolleyes.gif
