Let's do a battle of clean vs distorted solos - Clean channel vs High Gain!

Rules of the game: post a YT video of a song which features a clean or distorted/high gain solo to battle the person above you. You should always post the opposite, so if we have a clean solo, you should follow it up with a distorted one and if the distorted solo song is posted you should follow it up with one that features a clean solo.

This will be interesting - I'll go first with a CLEAN solo :

It starts at 3:23:

Awesome, this was one of my all time favorite solos too. I had that old Dio concert on Beta.

Can this apply as a clean solo? Dee by Rhandy Rhoades, played by Zakk Wylde?

Indeed - Man in the Box was the first solo I ever learned I think.

This is a good one too -

Clint (guitarist on left - you'll see it) trying to look like Cosmin in this video first...solo at 3:20

Distorted...

Clean Song... (not much of a solo, but a great acoustic song - tiny solo at 1:30)

How about a combination? Distorted turning into clean and back to distortion again. Note: I don't like this song at all, but this solo piece from 3:55 to 5:13 is guitar playing I love very much. smile.gif
