Assign Bass Sounds In Reaper, assign the bass sound to the imported midi??

No when I double klick this midi I see the piano roll with the notes on it. But how do I assign the bass sound to them?? Till noe I dont hear nothing... Ok I found something Hope it´s ok this way...Downloaded a free Bass vst and simply enable it in the effects of the track, seem to work greetings...
