Alvin Lee (Ten Years After, Alvin Lee & Company, Ten Years Later etc.) is one of my inspirations, and still seems to be relatively unknown after 20 albums and 40+ years in the business. Anytime I'm struggling with the lessons here I listen to some of his tracks and I'm ready to go again. Here are a few clips I found on YouTube:

Ain't Nothing Shaking
I May Be Wrong But I Won't Be Wrong Always
Bad Scene

What do you think?

he was great in his time. you have to look at him in context of his time. pretty hard to do, because so many others have done similar things since. But at the time, he was quite creative. Always have liked this song....

he was a woodstock in 69. and here is is there, doing "I'm Going Home". Fast swingy blues thing, very long.

Keeping in mind the time, he was certainly ahead of all but a few of the pack at the time.

Yeah. He doesn't seem to get much credit or get talked about. It's a shame. Great artist.
