> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man smile.gif

This take is good as an ensemble, but I would suggest you to work on the following aspects:

- vibrato - it should be wider and in tune - focus on vibrating in pitch
- the lead part - you should practice it slower and focus on having the right and left hand in synch, ok?

The tone is clean and the notes sound accurate, but I will give you a 7 - I know you can do MUCH better, one you focus on getting the above things settled wink.gif

Hi man! It's not a bad take but it needs some adjustment. Let's analyse this take in 3 parts:

00:00 to 00:23: You have to make the vibrato wider and pay attention to timing when you do the slide.
00:23 to 00:34: This part should be groovier and tighter. Also you should make the connection between this part and the next one smoother. There is a silence that shouldn't be that long.
00:34 to 00:47: This is the part that need more work. Concentrate on vibrato, the pitch of your bending and timing in general. The fastest lick doesn't sound clear.

That's all! Work on those things! wink.gif

Let's see smile.gif 0:41...needs more precision. All notes are correct but feels like a little out of tune. I think You could add some more power to it...use some harder strokes...to let us feel You're more self-confident of Your playing. Most of what had to be done on this lesson is done so it's a peace of your great work but work on the mentioned issues and that would be very ok. Keep in mind we try to judge You without any compromises for Your own good...not to troll You smile.gif
