Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I see You pay a lot of attention to the bends. Most of of them is in very good pitch but two or three like 1:24 missed the pitch 1:40 this run in not clean enough. There are only a few little flaws...very little so for me You passed. Let's see how about other instructors smile.gif It's easy to feel that You not only said that You put a lot o work to it...but You really did it smile.gif We'll done!

Hi man! Good job with this lesson! Besides those Bends that Darius marked, I could add that some of the faster licks (for example at 00:30), mostly from the distorted sections could sound more defined. Work on those licks slowly and try to get a better accentuation, palm muting and timing. I think that you could work on some technique exercises to practice bends, alternate picking and legato.

What about these ones?

Hey man! I can see you put a lot of effort into this one, but I will have to say that you need to work more on it:

- there are too many bends which feel borderline regarding the correct pitch
- the whole flow of the piece is affected by the fact above

Practice against the original track and record one take like that - what do you notice? Focus on being spot on with the original recording and then re-record against the raw backing track. You will have a surprise!

Nothing to add smile.gif Like guys say, you did an awesome job with this tune, but you have to work on bends and faster licks. You can also try to experiment with your pickups position especially in the clean part. Looking forward for your next take...will be perfect for sure!
Cheers smile.gif
