Hey thanks man, but I think most people know this lesson because it's become a real GMC classic ! It's very well shown how cleanly and accurately you can play still at 190 bpm (16th notes) if you practised hard, patiently and efficiently rolleyes.gif By the way, this lesson always had two functions for me. 1. A demotivator: Because I always thought, man you have been practising so much and you don't even scratch the surface of pavel's speed ! 2. A Motivator...Damn I wanna play like that no matter what it takes ! laugh.gif
Furthermore, I always kept in mind that Pavel is one year younger than me (He should be 22 now probably 20 when he made that lesson). So it is good to know that he didn't spend 20 years apparently to reach that speed ! laugh.gif

I can easily understand why this has become a classic here at GMC.
I will have a go at this during the week and after that I will decide if I should throw away all my guitars or get a hair cut like Yngwie smile.gif

Hahah I find most lessons work that way, the demotivator, motivator thing that is. Youtube is the worst for that I see these guys play and realize how much more work I have before I reach that level laugh.gif

I totally agree! Especially if you find a lick/riff/song that sounds rather easy but turns out to be impossible to nail smile.gif
Like the first time I heard Electric Gypsy by Andy Timmons. I immediately fell in love with the song and then when I tried to play it it didn't sound anything like Andy. Bad example I guess since Andy is... Well, I can't find words to describe his playing or tone but I think you know what I mean laugh.gif

Yeah probably last week I heard tears of sahara by Tony MacAlpine and I fell in love, but once I started learning it I could only learn the basic parts and the fast riffs were just too much laugh.gif
