There is no problem mate, if you feel comfortable and that grip enables you to play precisely, than it is good!

Whatever you feel comfortable with.
Keeping the hand parallel with strings is THE best I think.... Very economic way of playing.... -------------------- |

If its feeling comfortable to you , just stick with it...Eventually you want to learn other positions so you can be most efficient with your picking!

I agree with the others, as long as it feels good and works for you there is no problem at all.
