GMC Forum _ REC _ Am Beginner Solo

Posted by: kahall May 26 2009, 12:01 AM

I already posted this over in the http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=27701&hl= section since the guitar is new but hey what the heck, let me have it. Tell me I need to use the wrist for vibrato and to stop wiggling my finger, maybe I will pay attention then.
Original lesson from Ben Nisenblat is http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/am-beginner-solo/.

The guitar is Ibanez RG5EX1 ( had it for 2 weeks)
Using a Guitar Port plugged into my pc
Gearbox set to the Line 6 Spinal Puppet and some delay
Reaper used for sound recording
RCA PRO8 for video (really old) plugged into a PYRO A /V Link so I can get it on my pc

You need to work on vibrato and bendings. Looks like you're not controling it really well. The rest wasn't bad.

well done man! it´s not perfect yet, but I think you´ll get it soon.
pay attention on bends, there´re some out of tune. another thing I see, that you are so rigid, so your take will go on the same way. try to stay a little bit more relaxed. smile.gif
