I've been playing around with this small idea for a while and just thought i'd get some feedback so far. If I do end up completing this it will be the first song that i've ever created so i'm hoping it'll go well. Unfortunatly all I have to show at the moment is tab but i'm hoping in the near future to record it so you can better hear what i'm going for but it's only a beginning anyway.

The opening riff i've had for a while and it's inspired by Gojira's Esoteric Surgery, even though in the end it sounds nothing like it. All comments welcome.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah I think the drums for the intro is ok at the moment although i've extended it very slightly simply because what I had in mind didn't fit in the time the intro took.

Emir: I added a bit more this morning but i'm hoping to be able to actually record what I have so far the only thing is i'm not brilliant with recording haha

Yeah well I wasn't sure whether I should get a bit more of the track first you know jam with a drum track a bit more see what comes up if anything and just write some more material then record a bigger chunk of it.

Man, thats a nice cool riff, and I like where you went in the last part, I would like to hear that repeated couple of times and perhaps developed into a main theme of the song. Awesome smile.gif

Track sounds cool! You should go on and develop it some more and then record it! smile.gif You can export drums from Guitar pro and use some VSTs in recording software to make them sound good (like Addictive Drums or Ezdrummer).

Thanks for the reply. As of yet I haven't been able to go any further with it I can't seem to find something I like. May need to take that second part out if it just isn't going to fit with the song
